Christine is a compassionate person and a well-rounded therapist. She graduated from McGill University with an Applied Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to that, Christine earned her Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences and her Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from York University, and became a Certified Athletic Therapist. She also gained many other qualifications including Registered Massage Therapist and Registered Kinesiologist.

Already possessing many professional credentials, Christine has continued to pursue her passion for learning. In the past few years she has attended numerous professional development courses, including Neurofunctional Acupuncture, Soft Tissue Release, Neurofunctional Taping, the Assessment & Treatment of the Pelvic Girdle and Level 1 – 3 Manual Therapy. Continuously adopting new, powerful skills, Christine is able to keep both her brain and hands updated so she can maximize the effectiveness in helping her clients.  Currently, Christine is working towards completing her post-professional Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy to become a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists.

With many years of experience, Christine believes that the combination of effective communication, hands-on techniques, acupuncture, and specific exercises are most effective for pain relief, functional recovery and long-term injury prevention. Regardless of the condition, Christine applies this multi-modal approach to optimize functional recovery.

When not working, Christine enjoys reading in both English and Chinese, playing weekend hockey, snowboarding and spending time with her friends and family.
