Asya is a Physiotherapist with a true passion for helping people. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she completed the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy Degree. Prior to this, she obtained the Honours Bachelor of Science Degree with Biology and Psychology majors.

Asya is dedicated to life-long learning and continuing education and has completed numerous post-professional courses, including myofascial release, K-taping, sports taping, Lynn Watson’s shoulder course, vestibular rehabilitation and pelvic health training. She finds it incredibly rewarding working with a pre- and post-natal population as well as addressing other pelvic health related concerns. This includes supporting your physical well-being during pregnancy, reducing risks of severe tearing, preparing for labor, assisting in recovery, addressing incontinence, etc. Asya also is also trained vestibular issues, such as balance difficulties, vertigo, and dizziness.

Asya has completed her post-professional Diploma in Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is a Fellow of Canadian Academy of Manual Physiotherapy.

Asya expertise is in treating multiple musculoskeletal conditions in a wide variety of clients, regardless of age and level of athletic ability. Her comprehensive approach to care incorporates a hands-on approach, an individualized muscle-retraining program, and education to empower her clients. She has much success rehabilitating clients and empowering them to be active participants in their own recovery.

In her free time, Asya enjoys reading, crocheting, hiking, and spending time with her two adorable dogs.
